Piano Enrichment:
Piano Accompaniment (Collaborative Artist)

Instructor: Anne Palmer

Artistic collaboration training increases and enhances musical skills and prepares the pianist for a broader performing and teaching career.  Learn communication skills and rehearsal and ensemble techniques, including the ability to follow an instrumentalist, picking up on both visual and auditory clues.  Study with our flute faculty, Anne Palmer, who is also a pianist, and who has experience on both sides of such a duo. This is a rare opportunity for a student pianist to learn collaboration with a professional soloist.

The course includes a daily lesson of four students within a 50-minute class. The music will be chosen from standard flute and piano repertoire and will be provided in advance. In order to facilitate this, registration will close on May 16.

Family Chorus

A Broadway classic: Les Misérables ~ medley arr. Ed Lojeski, Hal Leonard Publ.
